I don't blog anywhere near enough engagement sessions, and I REALLY need to! Engagement sessions are where I get to know my couples a bit more, and I see how they interact with each other so I can capture exactly who they are. MOST of my clients have never been in front of a camera before so this is a way to help them relax and get to know how I will work with them on their big day. Its also a chance to have a relaxing photoshoot without the pressure of everything else going on around them like a wedding day brings; its normally me, my camera, the couple, and sometimes an extra family member! Plus they are a TON of fun.

I was super excited when Genaya got in touch to photograph their wedding, I love going back home to capture loved up couples on their wedding day! On one of my recent trips back home to photograph a wedding we organised to meet in one of my favourite locations the Port Hills. Only a few short weeks earlier devastating fires had ripped through this area, but there is definitely no shortage of views here. They decided they would also bring their family member Harley, isn't he gorgeous?
